(iv) Validity

The medical validity period for a permit holder shall be:
(A) in the case of a Student Pilot Permit - Ultra-Light Aeroplane, a Student Pilot
Permit - Glider, or a Student Pilot Permit - Aeroplane category permit, 60
months (i.e. five years); and
(amended 1998/03/23; previous
version)
(B) in the case of all other aircraft category permits,
(I) 24 months if the holder is under 40 years of age; or
(II) 12 months if the holder is 40 years of age or over.
