Business
Doing business with the City of Kelowna can be as simple as dropping a quarter in a parking meter or as complex as trying to shepherd a new development through the planning process.
Employees are available to help you understand Council policies, and the rules and regulations that come in to play under the Local Government Act.
If you are doing business in Kelowna you will require a Business Licence, and that must be purchased at City Hall. Please see staff at the Permit Centre on the second floor.
Not all municipal business needs to be conducted at City Hall as you’ll see from the examples below:
Beach and Park Maintenance: Parks Office, 1359 K.L.O. Road
Facility Rentals: Parkinson Recreation Centre, 1800 Parkinson Way
Recreation Programming: Parkinson Recreation Centre, 1800 Parkinson Way
Road Usage Permits: Yards Office, 1495 Hardy Street
Sport Development and Events: Sport Kelowna, 645 Dodd Road
