Fund Raising Drives

To avoid neighbourhoods being canvassed by more than one organization at any one time, or on a constant basis, the City of Kelowna requires that all fund raising drives be approved through an application to the City Clerk’s Office. There is no cost for this service.

Organizations wishing to book a fund raising drive should submit a letter or complete the Fund Raising Drive Application Form at least 2 weeks prior to the proposed date of the drive. A separate application form must be completed for each weekend your organization wishes to canvass.

Copies of all permits issued are forwarded to the RCMP and the City’s Bylaw Enforcement Division.

NOTE: Submitting the application form DOES NOT guarantee your organization will be able to canvas on the days or in the areas requested.
