Family Environment Day

The City of Kelowna’s Environment Division and the Regional District Parks Department organizes this free, fun, family event to commemorate National Wildlife Week and celebrate our environment. This year’s theme is Watersheds…more than just water….explore yours! Join us from 11 am to 3 pm on Sunday, April 9th, 2006, as we celebrate the 9th annual Family Environment Day.

Rain or shine, there is free family fun at the EECO Centre. The first 100 families to arrive can register to build a birdhouse! Plus, everyone is welcome to take part in the environmental scavenger hunt and the many other interactive displays and activities.
