Parking Tickets

Municipal parking tickets are issued by City Bylaw Enforcement Officers and by the British Columbia Corps of Commissionaires. Private lots provide their own enforcement.

The Corps of Commissionaires is responsible for the City’s 18 pay lots and 1,250 parking meters. City Bylaw Enforcement Officers enforce all regulated free parking.

Tickets issued by the Corps of Commissionaires can be paid at Suite 104, 346 Lawrence Avenue directly across from the Chapman Parkade. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday.

City-issued tickets can be paid at City Hall, 1435 Water Street. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday to Friday.

All tickets can be paid by mail. Drop boxes are also available for City-issued tickets at the Water Street entrance to City Hall and at the exit from the Doyle Avenue parking lot.

Drop boxes for payment of tickets issued by the Commissionaires are available in the Library Plaza (accessed from either Doyle Avenue or Ellis Street) and outside the Commissionaires’ office at 346 Lawrence Avenue.
