Dog Licences

All dogs within the City of Kelowna (over three months of age) must be licensed annually by the last day of February. A late payment fee of $5 is applied after March 1st. After July 1st the fee is halved for new residents or new dogs.

Fees:
$16 for a spayed or neutered dog (certificate required for first licence)
$50 for an unspayed or unneutered dog
$125 for a kennel licence (required for more than 2 dogs, if property is properly zoned and five acres or more in size)

There is no fee to licence seeing eye and hearing aid dogs.

See staff on the second floor of City Hall to purchase a licence. Licences are also available from pet stores, the S.P.C.A. on Casorso Road and the Central Okanagan Regional District on K.L.O. Road.
