Glenmore Landfill

The Glenmore Landfill at 2105 Glenmore Road is open seven days a week from 7:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. except Good Friday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. 

Tipping fees for residential garbage are $1/bag for quantities from one to six bags. There is a $50 fee per metric tonne (pro-rated for portions thereof), or a minimum charge of $6 for 250 kg or less. The disposal fee for wood waste is $40/metric tonne, which includes dimensional lumber.

There is no charge for the disposal of residential yard waste, including prunings up to eight inches in diameter. Yard waste from commercial sources can be disposed of for $40/metric tonne.
