Background
An amendment will be submitted to the CARAC Secretariat to add the following
information to the Table in CAR 421, Aircraft Type Designators, 1. Aeroplanes
under De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Ltd.

Action
Please use the designator DH8 when issuing a type rating for a De Havilland

400 series.
Expiry
This Policy Letter will expire with the appropriate amendment to the CARs.
