![]() Environment Canada has designated June 6th - 10th, 2005, as Severe Summer Weather Awareness Week in the Atlantic provinces to remind people about the potential dangers associated with summer storms and other extreme summer weather conditons. Being more aware of rapidly changing weather and knowing what to do during extreme weather events helps to save lives and protect personal property.
To equip Atlantic Canadians with tools to protect themselves, their families and their property, Environment Canada has produced this special comprehensive web site containing information on severe summer weather in the Atlantic region, practical tips for preparing for extreme weather events and numerous links to other helpful web sites.
