RADARSAT: High, but not dry

Satellites are helping field geologist find and manage precious water resources. Satellites observe much larger areas than aerial photopgraphs and provide information at a much lower cost than ground surveys. Images from Canada's RADARSAT are helping to map our aquifers so we can preserve these valuable and renewable groundwater reserves.
