"Canada's Future in Space - Global Responsibilities and Opportunities"

Reviewing Canada's role in space with respect to challenges and responsibilities is the main theme of ASTRO 2006. Do we have the best strategy for international and national responsibilities? Do we have the best synergy among academia, industry and government? ASTRO 2006 will serve as a forum to discuss Canadian global responsibilities as well as opportunities and innovation, in space. The conference will be the venue for exploring these topics considering government, programmatic, scientific, technological, military and financial/commercial aspects.

For the first time, ASTRO 2006 is being held concurrently with the CASI Annual General Meeting. This will allow attendees from fields other than space to participate.
