Embrace Space 2000: Webcast

More than 2,000 students from five science centres and on-site at the CSA participated in the live event. 5,000 students viewed the presentation via Webcast with the assistance of Industry Canada’s SchoolNet and five classrooms had the opportunity to ask the astronauts questions via an ePALS web board.

The highlight of the Canadian Embrace Space Campaign was a live presentation to youth across the nation by CSA astronaut Dave Williams and NASA astronaut John Glenn on May 11.
