Mackenzie Gas Project

The Joint Review Panel (JRP) is beginning its hearing focusing on the environmental and socio-economic effects associated with the proposed Mackenzie Gas Project.

The first JRP hearing session is underway in Inuvik February 14-16.

The JRP will hold Community Hearings in Fort McPherson February 17 and Tsiigehtchic February 20 and will continue the hearing in Inuvik February 21-22.

The Inuvik session of the NEB hearing concluded on 1 February 2006. The next NEB session will start in Norman Wells on 24 April 2006.
