Young Worker Awareness Program

Like most young people, you probably plan to work part-time, after school or during the summer. Maybe you have a co-op placement, or a plan to start a full-time job soon. Most injuries among new workers happen within the first year of work. Learning to identify potential workplace hazards, knowing your rights and responsibilities and how to protect yourself on the job will help you avoid the cost of a work related injury.
