How to Maintain the Canadian Environmental Assessment Registry Internet Site

The purpose of these sessions is to demonstrate the Registry Internet Site, to instruct Environmental Assessment (EA) practitioners on how to use the application and to go over several issues that occurred with the Registry since its launch in October 2003.

Ideal participants

  • Federal EA practitioners who currently are responsible for the public registry
  • Federal public servants who may have responsibilities to use the Internet Site for the public Registry

Outcomes and benefits

The course will:

  • give an overview of how to use the application, including demonstrations on how example screening assessments would be entered
  • discuss most frequently asked questions
  • the last hour of the session will be left open for participants to enter their own examples, and to ask questions and provide feedback to the Agency moderators

  • engage in a hands-on approach to learning through interactive exercises and
  • use computer training facilities for the workshops

Fees

There are no costs to attend these sessions.
