Protecting Information At Your Electronic Boundary
The Entrust Entelligence Messaging Server is an email security gateway that operates at the server level. By operating at the email server level (such as Microsoft and Lotus Domino), it is an easier and more efficient method for deploying email security to your users.

Content can be automatically encrypted based on the list of recipients (i.e. auditors, board of directors, lawyers), the nature of the content (i.e. intellectual property, credit cards, personally identifiable information) or in unique circumstances as dictated by your security policy.

- Email from your Executives to your Board of Directors can be encrypted
- Email from employees to customers can be monitored
- Email containing credit card numbers can be encrypted
- Email containing intellectual property (based on advanced contextual and content analysis) can be restricted from being emailed to any party outside your organization

Integrating Email Encryption with Content Analysis and Content Security
As a part of Entrust's comprehensive security solutions, the Entrust Entelligence Messaging Server is fully integrated with the Entrust Entelligence Content Control Server to uniquely enable automatic encryption of sensitive information that is detected by the Content Control suite of products.
In a recent survey by Osterman Research, 96% of companies surveyed experienced a sensitive information leak. Of which, 83% of reported losses were considered accidental. With the Entrust Entelligence Content Control Server, email content can be monitored with greater accuracy to detect intellectual property, personally identifiable information of customers and employees, credit cards and other financial information. When this type of content is detected, the system can be configured to work with the Messaging Server to take immediate action (remediation) such as automatically encrypt the email, or denying delivery. The Content Control Server can also be configured to provide educational training on the appropriate use of email and other communications by sending automated responses to individual email senders with or without allowing the original message to be communicated.

Deploying Comprehensive End-to-End Email Security
For organizations that are familiar with PKI and have already deployed digital certificates for use in desktop security or web applications, Entrust offers comprehensive end-to-end email security solutions that can be integrated with existing or new digital certificate deployments. Using Entrust Entelligence Security Provider and/or the Entrust Entelligence Email Plug-in, PKI deployments can be expanded to include Microsoft, Lotus and Macintosh email security capabilities.
