Canadian Embassy in Conakry, Guinea, closes permanently on September 30, 2005

The Canadian Embassy in Conakry, Guinea, will close permanently on Friday, September 30, 2005.

Responsibility for representing Canadian interests in Guinea, including for consular assistance, will reside with the Canadian Embassy in Dakar, Senegal.

Responsibility for representing Canadian interests in Sierra Leone, formerly with the Canadian Embassy in Conakry, will reside with the Canadian Embassy in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, effective October 1, 2005.
