Welcome to the Consulate General in St Petersburg!
The Canadian Consulate General is pleased to welcome you to St.-Petersburg and wish
you a pleasant stay.
Our office is responsible for the Northwest Region of Russia, including St. Petersburg, the Leningrad Oblast (Region),
Velikiy Novgorod, Pskov, Arkhangelsk, Murmansk Region, the Republic of Karelia and the autonomous republic of Nenets.
The total populations is roughly 15 million. The Consulate’s main objective is the development of Canadian
commercial relations in the Region. As such, we actively promote and support the interests of Canadian companies
that have targeted the Northwest Region of Russia as a potential market for their products, services or technologies.
The Consulate General promotes Canadian visibility and values through a number of cultural and academic programs,
further strengthening ties with the region.
