Public Service Modernization Act and Public Service Employment Act

The new Public Service Employment Act is now in force.

Welcome to the Communications Resource Centre.  We’re your single point of access to communications information on the Public Service Modernization Act (PSMA) and the Public Service Employment Act (PSEA), which came into force December 31, 2005.

As a federal communicator, you have a critical role to play in HR modernization. On this site, you’ll find valuable tools and products to help you heighten awareness and support understanding among your deputy heads, managers, HR advisors and employees of the many exciting changes the new legislation will bring to your organization.

This site has been created by the Public Service Commission (PSC) and the Public Service Human Resources Management Agency of Canada (PSHRMAC) to support an integrated communications approach across government. You are welcome to use these materials as they are or adapt them to suit your own needs.

This Centre is for you. If you have any questions or suggestions for the site, please contact us at Resource Centre feedback. For the latest site additions, please see “What’s New.”
