Looking for something new?
There are many programs in place allowing you to try a new occupation – start a second career – without giving up the pay and benefits you receive in the Forces. These programs are very important for the overall CF intake because about 15 percent of the positions available each year are open only for internal transfer – not for ‘off the street’ recruiting.It should be noted that most of the transfer plans listed herein are limited to Regular Force personnel. There are a limited number of positions, in certain occupations available for Component Transfer (CT) from the Reserve Force to the Regular Force.

Non-Commissioned Members (NCM)
NCMs applying for Voluntary Occupation Transfer are limited to two (2) choices on file under any or all programs at any one time.

Officer occupation transfers are categorized as voluntary, compulsory, or MOC reassignment.
