Proactive Disclosure

Overview of Initative

The Government of Canada has implemented a series of measures to strengthen public sector management by enhancing transparency and oversight of public resources in the federal government.

One of these measures includes the proactive disclosure of financial- and human resources-related information by departments and agencies. By making this information readily available on departmental web sites, Canadians and Parliament are better able to hold the Government and public sector officials to account.

This website provides a practical tool kit to implement and communicate these initiatives.

Disclosure of Position Reclassifications

This initiative is under the responsibility of the Public Service Human Resources Management Agency of Canada (PSHRMAC).
The position Reclassification Data Capture application is password protected. The password is a departmental responsibility that rests with the Chief of Classification or designate in each department/agency to authorize access to the Position Reclassification Data Capture application.
