SUBJECT: Rates of Pay for Students - January 1, 2005
The Secretary of the Treasury Board has recently approved new
rates of pay for all salaried Student Employment Programs, effective January 1,
2005. The new rates reflect a 2.25% increase on the 2004 rates of pay.
Attached is a summary of the changes that will take effect on
January 1, 2005. They should be communicated immediately to all managers
planning to hire students in 2005.
The new rates of pay are available via the TBS Web site on
Publiservice and the Internet. The addresses of these sites are as follows:
