NEW DIRECTOR APPOINTED TO EDC BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Honourable Art Eggleton, Minister for International Trade, today announced the
appointment of Bob Holt as a Director of the EDC (Export Development Corporation)
Board. Mr. Holt's three-year appointment to this position will take effect
immediately. Mr. Holt is currently CEO and Director of Sun-Rype Products of
British Columbia.
"Mr. Holt is a welcome addition to the EDC Board of Directors," said Mr. Eggleton.
"His strong business focus, as well as the executive managerial experience he has
gained in the private sector, will prove to be an asset to the Corporation."
EDC is a financial services corporation dedicated to helping Canadian business
compete and succeed in foreign markets.
