PETTIGREW ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENTS TO CANADIAN
COMMERCIAL CORPORATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS
International Trade Minister Pierre Pettigrew today announced the appointment of Wendy L.
Morris and David W. Stapley to the Board of Directors of the Canadian Commercial Corporation
(CCC).
An accomplished business executive with expertise in product research and development,
manufacturing and international marketing, Ms. Morris is Chief Operating Officer of Morris
Industries, of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
An expert in formulating corporate strategy and in organizational renewal, Mr. Stapley is
President of DRS Flight Safety and Communications Group, DRS Technologies Inc., of Nepean,
Ontario.
"Both Wendy Morris and David Stapley bring to the CCC Board the kinds of experience and
expertise that will help the Corporation build on its record of accomplishment," said Minister
Pettigrew.
The Canadian Commercial Corporation is a Crown corporation that reports to Parliament through
the Minister for International Trade. The CCC supports the export efforts of Canadian companies
by providing contracting expertise and performance guarantees to foreign buyers. It is a valued
member of Team Canada Inc.
