CANADA CONDEMNS TERRORIST BOMBINGS IN KENYA
Foreign Affairs Minister Bill Graham today condemned the car bombing of a hotel in Mombasa, Kenya, which claimed the
lives of at least 14 people and injured more than 80, and the failed attack on an Israeli passenger airliner.
"The deaths of these innocent civilians at the hands of terrorists are tragic and senseless," said Mr. Graham. "Canada
extends its sincere condolences to the families and friends of the victims of this attack, and hopes that the perpetrators will
be brought to justice."
Mr. Graham added that the use of violence to achieve political ends can never be condoned. "This attack reminds us all that
we must remain vigilant in the global war against terrorism."
