VISIT OF COMMERCE MINISTER OF THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA

Media representatives are advised that International Trade Minister Pierre Pettigrew will meet with Chinese Minister of Commerce Lu Fuyuan in Montreal, Quebec, on July 30 to discuss the strengthening of bilateral trade ties.

Prior to their meeting, the ministers participated in the World Trade Organization Informal Mini-Ministerial meeting in Montreal from July 28 to 30.
