PETTIGREW TO VISIT KELOWNA, VANCOUVER AND GRANDE PRAIRIE
Media representatives are advised that International Trade Minister Pierre Pettigrew will participate in a number of
activities organized to highlight the benefits of the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service, from September 3 to September
5, in three Canadian cities: Kelowna, Vancouver and Grande Prairie. In Kelowna, Minister Pettigrew will also meet with
emergency crews and community partners affected by the recent forest fires.
In each city, the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade has organized an event to allow local businesses
that are currently exporting, and others that are interested in doing so, to exchange information with trade staff from
Canadian embassies and consulates in export markets, as well as with other local exporters.
