PETTIGREW SPEECH AT A BREAKFAST ORGANIZED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE CANADIAN MANUFACTURERS AND EXPORTERS (ALBERTA DIVISION) AND INDUSTRY CANADA'S INTERNATIONAL TRADE CENTRES

Media representatives are advised that International Trade Minister Pierre Pettigrew will give an address on Tuesday, August 21, in Edmonton. Mr. Pettigrew will speak about the promotion of Canada's trade in the western hemisphere and address the softwood lumber issue at a breakfast organized in partnership with the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters (Alberta Division) and Industry Canada's International Trade Centres.
