BACKGROUND BRIEFING ON PRIME MINISTER PAUL MARTIN’S
TRIP TO EUROPE


Senior government officials will hold a background briefing on October 7 to discuss Prime Minister Paul Martin’s trip, from October 8 to 16, to Russia and France and attendance at the Progressive Governance Summit in Hungary.


Media representatives interested in participating but unable to be in Ottawa should call the Media Relations Office of Foreign Affairs Canada and International Trade Canada to participate in a teleconference of the event.
