HR Shared Services initiative

• The HR Shared Services initiative is one part of the corporate services review that will transform the way Human Resources, Financial and Material administrative services are provided across the Public Service in order to:
  • Enhance enterprise decision-making;
  • Improve internal service delivery; and
  • Reduce operating costs
    
    
• At the same time however, the CASS HR shared services initiative is expected to play a major strategic and operational role in transforming HR services to meet both PSMA and other non-legislated HR Management Modernization goals.
  
  
• The CASS-HR services will include:
  • HR process transaction services
  • HR information services
  • HR Networks of Expertise
    
    
• Services will be delivered through a unique HR shared services support infrastructure that includes a new:
  • Employee portal
  • Data warehouse
  • Call centre capability
