Regional Support

Military members and civilian employees work together in over 3000 communities across the country to better position the Department to provide defence services. Civilians work in regional offices in Pacific, Prairie, Atlantic, Eastern, Ontario and National Capital locations to support the Canadian Forces by providing human resource management, recruitment, training and communications. There are bases, wings and stations from coast to coast that require facilities and property management as well as security services which are performed by civilian employees. Regional civilian support staff include human resource advisors, trainers and instructors, information management and technology experts, secretaries, cooks and security officers.
