Learning more about PSMA
The Public Service Modernization Act (PSMA) is designed to
facilitate hiring the right people when and where they are needed, to promote
more collaborative labour-management relations, to focus on learning and
training for employees at all levels, and to clarify roles and accountability.
To achieve this, the legislation will enact a new Public Service Employment
Act (PSEA) and Public Service Labour Relations Act (PSLRA),
and amend the Canadian Centre for Management Development Act (CCMDA)
and the Financial Administration Act (FAA).
