Common look and feel
The look and feel of the site is based on the standards and guidelines issued
by the Treasury Board Secretariat for government Internets, intranets, and
electronic networks.
Navigating the site
Switching between languages
No matter where you are on the site, you can click the language button on the
top menu bar to switch between French and English versions of the page you are
reading.
Top navigation bar
The top navigation bar contains a common menu bar with links that are
available on every Government of Canada Web site as well as an HRCS menu bar
with links to important sections of the site. Click

Left menu bar
The left menu bar divides the site into topics. Click on a link to access
more information about that topic. If you click on the cross beside a menu item,
it will expand a list of sub-categories, giving you quicker access to pages
within the site.
Site map
The Site map is a
guide to the layout of the HRCS site. You can view the site map from any page on
hrcs.gc.ca, by selecting the link on the top menu bar.
Searching the site
You can search the site from any page on hrcs.gc.ca. The search bar is at the
top of the left menu bar (right below the HRCS logo). Enter your word or words
and click GO. You will then get a list of pages that contain your keyword. Click
on the links to access the page. You can also go to the search page by selecting
the search button on the top menu bar. Click here to go to the search page
