Preuve que mine de rien, la petite note fait son chemin, les Musiques militaires de Belgique, d'Écosse; et de France ont déj;à confirmé leur participation. Le Festival international de musiques militaires de Québec; (FIMMQ) a remporté la Palme d'Or pour la meilleure annonce catégorie; «Quotidiens;», au Mondial de la publicité francophone. Il a devancé deux productions européennes; vantant les mérites; des voitures Hyundai et de la crème; Nivéa.; L'év;énement; se déroulait; le 14 novembre dernier à l'Hôtel; de ville de Paris. La Palme d'Or est la plus haute distinction accordée; par la plus importante association de publicitaires francophones du monde. Mais la petite note de musique n'en est pas à ses premiers succès.; Grâce; à ce concept signé Cossette Communications, le Festival a remporté le prix « or » au Forum de la publicité de Québec; et au concours de création; du Publicité Club de Montréal; pour la meilleure affiche et la meilleure annonce journal et l'extra de bronze au « Extra 2000 Awards » de la CDNPA de Toronto. The FIMMQ ad beat European productions singing the praises of Hyundai automobiles and Nivea cream. The event was held on November 14 at the city hall in Paris. The Palme d'Or is the highest distinction conferred by the world's largest association of French-language advertisers. This is not the first triumph of "the; little musical note." Thanks to the design-developed by Cossette Communications-the festival earned the gold award at the Forum de la L'affiche du FIMMQ. The FIMMQ poster. publicité de Québec;, won the competition sponsored by the Publicité Club de Montréal; for the best poster and newspaper ad, and captured the "Bronze; Extra" at the "Extra; 2000 Awards" held in Toronto. The founder and president of the FIMMQ, businessman Jacques Du Sault, is already making preparations for the Festival's third edition, which will take place August 23-26, 2001, in Québec; City. Military bands from Belgium, Scotland and France have already confirmed their presence, proof positive that the little musical note is making itself heard.
