The Government Information Services branch is always looking at innovative ways to provide access to Government of Canada information. Current programs and services include:
2006 National Events List
Provides a listing of Government of Canada events, non-governmental organization events and United Nations events.
Access points to information
Information on the three principal access points to information on programs and services.
Advertising Coordination
Advertising Coordination provides planning, coordination, advisory and training services on advertising to Government of Canada departments and agencies. It also develops and implements reporting mechanisms.
Canada Gazette
The Canada Gazette has been the official newspaper of the Government of Canada since 1841.
Crown Copyright
Administers Crown copyright and licensing arrangements.
Depository Services Program
This program helps ensure that Canadians have ready and equal access to Government of Canada information.

A unique travelling showcase bringing together different departments where Canadians can find out about government services and talk in person with our employees.

Government Services Marketing and Advertising (formerly the Citizens Information Initiative)
An information program designed to inform Canadians about government services and increase awareness of 1 800 O-Canada, canada.gc.ca and Service Canada Access Centres.
