Introduction

Our children are our future. They deserve every opportunity to lead happy, healthy and productive lives. If you're a parent or other caregiver, the Government of Canada offers many services for children and their families. We provide useful information on child health, safety and nutrition. We have many educational resources for learning and schoolwork. To help with the costs of raising children, we offer tax savings and benefits. We also offer programs to help you pay for your child's post-secondary education. If your child or family has special needs, we also provide services. This guide can help you find out what's available and how to get more information.
