Service Human Resources Management Agency of Canada What is the objective of the Training and Learning Curriculum (TLC)? The purpose of the TLC is to support the development of competencies required to ensure that the objectives of the classification program are met. Who's working on this project? The project team in OCS is working in partnership with an interdepartmental Steering Committee and an interdepartmental working group that includes union representatives. What is the mandate of the Steering Committee? The Steering Committee is responsible for providing strategic advice and guidance to the TLC Working Group, and making recommendations to the OCS on the major project initiatives, milestones, and issues. The Steering Committee serves as a forum for consultation and direction on all aspects of the project. What is the role of the Working Group? Through its recommendations to OCS, the working group contributes to the planning of the TLC project as well as to its implementation. What are the main steps of the project?
