CULTURE, EDUCATION AND YOUTH
Canadian culture expresses the uniqueness of our country, which is bilingual, multicultural, and deeply influenced by its Aboriginal roots. The Government of Canada supports the promotion of Canadian values and cultural activities abroad through youth programs, canadian studies, scholarships and business development. This gives youth, artists and scholars the chance to showcase Canadian talent abroad, and to share our Canadian values and our way of life with the rest of the world.

Culture
Working in partnership with Canadian cultural communities, our programs promote and define the image of Canada on the international scene. We work to ensure that Canadians have access to the best the world has to offer, while ensuring a place for Canadian culture abroad.
Education
We help boost the international marketing efforts of Canada's educational institutions to attract foreign students and foster the development of professionals sympathetic to the Canadian way of life and values. We support programs for Canadian studies, encourage collaboration with international institutions of higher learning and promote international scholarships.
Youth
Young people are a Government of Canada priority. Our international exchanges and internship programs encourage young Canadians to learn new skills that will help them compete in Canada and the global economy. |
