About BC Workinfonet

BC Workinfonet achieves its mission through the development and maintenance of a virtual information centre that provides access to career, learning and employment information resources and services such as labour market information website indexes, job listings, work search tutorials, career event calendars and practitioner listservs that British Columbians can use in order to prepare for, obtain and keep employment. Services are provided in English and French and targeted to both adults and youth in the Province.

About ASPECT

The Association of Service Providers for Employability and Career Training (ASPECT) is a non-profit association of community-based trainers that collectively strive to prepare people for the world of work. Our members are leading experts in the delivery of career training programs that lead to improved chances of employability and job retention.
The goal of community-based training is to assist all clients in their efforts to become employable—get people working in their own communities and provide them with relevant skills for the future.
ASPECT has undertaken the managment of BC Workinfonet to help individuals who are looking for work and to support career practitioners across BC.

EDUCACENTRE College and “Info-Emploi C.B.”

 

Éducacentre College is responsible for the maintenance of the site, “Info-Emploi BC” and its monthly news, the home page and the list of upcoming events. 

 

OUR INSTITUTION

 Éducacentre College, the only French-speaking College of the province of British Columbia, offers post-secondary courses in French in its four campuses of Vancouver, Victoria, Prince George and Nanaimo.  The virtual College allows more adults to follow self-paced studies in the comfort of their own homes. Online courses to date include: Administration, Business, Computer Training, Early Childhood Education, Health Care, Hospitality, Media and Tourism.
