A Receiver General Directive
is an instruction given in the discharge of the responsibilities
and functions of the Receiver General for Canada concerning
any matter coming within his/her purview. Ensuing
instructions must be followed by all concerned departments,
agencies and Crown corporations. RGDs are each assigned
a unique control number representing the calendar
year in which it is issued, followed by a sequential
number.
