Course Description

The Common Criteria (CC) is an international standard (ISO 15408) for evaluating IT security products and systems. This intensive course provides training for employees of accredited Canadian Common Criteria Evaluation Facilities (CCEF) to apply the Common Evaluation Methodology (CEM).

Topics covered include the Common Criteria evaluation of Protection Profiles and Security Targets, and evaluating IT security products at the EAL-1 level of assurance.

NOTE: A 3-hour written exam will be administered
