Course Description
This three-day course uses Canadian and NATO TEMPEST specifications to provide an overview of the various TEMPEST phenomena, the threats they represent and the methods to address these threats. An overview of TEMPEST design and installation criteria for both fixed and mobile systems is provided. Practical advice on the selection of TEMPEST products and control measures is included. The course package includes presentation material and CSE TEMPEST publications.

Audience

This course is only available to GoC employees holding SECRET security clearance. GoC contractors may attend with special pre-clearance through PWGSC.

This course is technical in nature, but extensive engineering education or experience is not required. Anyone in the GoC whose responsibilities involve TEMPEST or communication security can benefit.
