Course Description | |
Within the federal government, information technology (IT) assets are essential to achieve improved communications and service delivery. They are inherently susceptible to a variety of threats and vulnerabilities with potentially adverse consequences for confidentiality, integrity or availability. With a comprehensive IT security program, these risks can be managed effectively to meet the Government of Canada's national security and business objectives. This course is offered through our partner The Institute (PWGSC). It provides a broad overview of IT security as a stand-alone module and is a useful starting point for more intensive IT security training. |
