Physical Security Workshop

The goal of this workshop is to introduce physical security staff to the application of the Physical Security Operational Standard and the Government Security Policy.

This four-day workshop covers:

• Basic concepts of physical security
• Security zones
• Perimeter and landscaping
• Fences, gates and lighting
• Doors, locks and master keys
• Construction, windows, walls and doors
• Identification cards and access badges
• Security containers
• Intrusion detection and access control systems, CCTV/CCVE
• Transport, transmittal and destruction of sensitive material

This basic level workshop is restricted to employees who have or will have physical security responsibilities.
