You will need to complete an application form with your name,
address and enough information to let the government department or agency know which
records you need. Application forms are available at all provincial government offices in
Saskatchewan.
A guide to government records, the "Saskatchewan Access Directory", is
available for reference at all provincial government offices and at your local library.
The Directory lists the names and mandates of all government departments and agencies
covered under the Act and it includes the general classes or types of records that are
kept.
If you are refused access to a record or part of a record, you may ask the
Information and Privacy Commissioner to review the decision. If the Commissioner reviews the matter
and you are still not satisfied, the decision can be appealed to the Court of Queens Bench.
