![]() RIC-5 - Guide for Class "V" Approved Examiners Conducting Examinations for Radiotelephone Operator’s Restricted Certificates (Maritime Voluntary)
PDF Format, 185
KB Industry Canada requires that operators of licensed radio stations on board voluntarily fitted vessels hold such certificates to ensure that stations are operated in a manner such that the Maritime Distress System will not be compromised in any way and that all stations will have equitable access to the radio frequency spectrum. These requirements are best met by full knowledge on the part of station operators of international and national regulations, proper operating procedures and the use of documents pertaining to the operation of stations in the Maritime Mobile Service. |
