Registered organizations are those organizations that have been delegated authority to inspect devices on behalf of Measurement Canada pursuant to the Weights and Measures Act. Registered organizations must meet the requirements set out in the Registration Program of Measurement Canada.
Note: Registered organizations can perform intial and subsequent inspections of all devices types in the downstream petroleum, retail petroleum and dairy sectors. In the retail food sector, they are authorized to perform subsequent inspections only (all device types). The device types included in the scope of each organization are detailed in the List of Registered Service Providers.
