Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for entry level TI-3 positions is $43,967 - $51,053. Upon satisfactory completion of a formal developmental program, candidates are promoted to the TI-4 level. The salary range for the TI-4 level is $48,403 to $56,333

If appointed to a position in which the use of both official languages is required, candidates receive a bilingual bonus in the amount of $800 per year.

Indeterminate employees are eligible for 15 days of annual paid vacation leave; 15 days of annual paid sick leave; paid statutory holidays; a pension plan; employment insurance; and medical, dental, hospital, disability and life insurance plans, and compensatory time off for extended travel periods.

Other benefits include education leave; care and nurturing of pre-school children; maternity/parental leave of up to 52 weeks; leave with income averaging; self-funded leave; etc.
