Electricity Sector, Enrolment and Data submission
This section provides links to the Electricity Marketplace Monitoring Application (EMMA) web-page data reporting forms.
The web-page forms are the mechanism used for collection of performance data which is collected pursuant to Measurement Canada's "Marketplace Monitoring of the Electricity Measurement Trade Sector - Program Overview". The specific data items to be collected are identified in section 7.1, "Data Collection" of this document.
In addition to the complete Program Overview, an Executive Summary is also available online.
Marketplace Monitoring is a national program established for the purpose of evaluating the electricity trade measurement marketplace. Performance data will be contributed by Measurement Canada, meter owners, and meter verifiers, (accredited organizations).
In order to access the EMMA web-page data reporting forms, each contributing organization must contact their local Measurement Canada office and provide the information requested on this online EMMA enrolment form, in PDF format, 48 KB. The form may be submitted to the local Measurement Canada office by fax or by mail. Measurement Canada will verify the information, and authorize the organization to access the web-page forms by providing a User ID and obtaining a unique password for the organization. (For security reasons User ID's and Passwords will be communicated by telephone only).
Any organization registered to EMMA may benefit by subscribing to the EMMA mailing list. Subscribers will be informed of any functional or field changes to the system, as well as availability of the system in the event of a shutdown.
