Our Expectations

Contributions provided under the Language Industry Program (LIP) are expected to:

1. foster a higher profile for the language industries in national and international markets. The language industries will raise awareness of their services, products and expertise through a marketing and branding campaign;



2. encourage the creation and growth of companies that are competitive in Canadian and international markets;



3. foster an increase in the level of skills in order to help improve firms' productivity and to foster innovation; and



4. foster an increase in the number of language professionals.
